Our Policies

Please read carefully before booking a picnic or event

  • Payment Methods: We currently take payment through Venmo

  • Non-refundable Deposit Fee: Once your picnic is approved, a 50% non-refundable deposit fee is required to confirm your date. Your remaining balance is due 48 hours before your picnic. We do not set up your picnic unless we have the full payment.

  • Cancelations & Rescheduling: Picnics cannot be cancelled or rescheduled less than 48 hours prior to your picnic. Rescheduling can only be done 48 hours or more prior to your picnic. We will reschedule your for a further date *subject to availability*

  • Weather Conditions:  Weather can be unpredictable. If the weather conditions on the day of your picnic do not permit for a picnic, you may reschedule your picnic for a later date with no penalties *subject to availability*

  • Picnic Liability: During the duration of your picnic, you are liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment, and can be charged a fee if any of these occur. We do not permit the use of any open flame candles at our picnics and we are not liable for any consequences of live fire.  Additionally, do not in any circumstances leave your picnic unattended. If you would like to leave your picnic early, please message us prior to when you would like to leave and we will try to return asap.

Is food included?

Food and drinks are not included with your picnic.

 

However, we have partnered with other small businesses as food vendor options for your picnic! Simply let us know if you would like to place an order with one of our vendors and we can have your food delivered to your picnic (delivery fees may apply).

What if your party is late?

How do I book?

Once you have a desired date, time, location and party size, please contact us, and we will get back to you to let you know if your picnic is approved! Once it is, we ask for a 50% nonrefundable deposit fee to secure your date.

Do you set up at beaches or parks?

Unfortunately, due to the newly enforced permit regulations within the City of San Diego, we are now unable to set up on public beaches or parks. However, we are still able to bring the experience of a luxury picnic to you and set up in your backyard, house, or any private property! 

Your picnic time slot will begin and end at the scheduled time, regardless if you or your full party is there or not.

What if I want to leave early?

Please do not leave picnic unattended. If you would like to leave early, contact us prior to when you want to leave and we will try to return asap.

What does the day of the picnic look like?

We set up 1-2 hours prior to your picnic and request you do not arrive earlier than your scheduled time. We want you to see the finished product!


Once you get here, we leave and let you enjoy. We return once your picnic is done to clean everything up.
